This week the AIO team began the recording process of Season 4 of the Odyssey Adventure Club, which will air in 2017. This time around two actors returned to the studio after a long hiatus, Kendre Berry and Adam Wylie. Kendre, the voice of Marvin Washington, hasn't been on the show since A Class Reenactment on Album 50, which aired in 2008. Adam was last heard in the 2012 episode The Holy Hoopster on Album 56. The characters Marvin and Ryan will appear together in a new episode called Unfair Game, written by Marshal Younger. The show is set in the Philippines and features Jason Whittaker doing his best to take on the role of a basketball coach. The cast and crew also recorded the three-part episode In Jars of Clay, a historical drama set during WWII and highlighting the heroism of Irena Sendler, who rescued Jews from the Warsaw ghetto. And finally, they recorded the two-part episode Swept Away, a story about a potential major disaster in Odyssey. It features the return of Mayor Spencer Hicks, last heard in The Mystery of the Clock Tower on Album 52, as well as reporter Ted Humphries, his first appearance since A Penny Saved on Album 54. Swept Away's cast includes Mrs. Kramer, Eugene, Wooton, Penny, Connie, Whit, and host Chris Anthony's daughter Kelsey playing an unknown character. Check out the official Adventures in Odyssey Facebook page for photos and videos from the latest recording session.
