Audio Theatre Central is celebrating its 100th episode and has released an interview with Philip Glassborow, who has worked behind the scenes on many different audio dramas, including Adventures in Odyssey. He's better known for his role as the angel Malachi on Album 32, and Mr. Tumnus on Focus on the Family Radio Theatre's The Chronicles of Narnia. Philip talks about working with Paul McCusker, his role as the London casting director for various audio productions, working with Brian Blessed the voice of G.A. Henty, and casting the right voice for a particular role. He also discusses his work on stage and television, how to direct an actor, using a pseudonym, working on the BBC, the difference between adapting existing works and writing original scripts, the role of a narrator, the Screwtape Letters, Silas Marner, and more.
