Adventures in Odyssey began as a radio show, broadcasting content over the airwaves to families across the country. The Novacom saga began with the idea that a technology might be invented to convert brain waves to radio waves, thus allowing people to control machines just by thinking about it. Instead of pressing a button on the remote control to turn on the TV, you could just think it. From there the idea developed into Novacom Broadcasting, a nefarious company with the goal of using radio waves to control people's brain waves, equating to a form of mind control. Novacom chooses the town of Odyssey as a test site for their new technology, and it's up to our friends in Odyssey to stop them before it's too late.
