Alex is hoping to survive a long weekend with his grandparents, but things get interesting when he sees his grandfather dig up a strange wooden box in the woods. More adventure unfolds as Marvin Washington takes his first trip back in time on the Imagination Station and lands in the middle of the American Revolutionary War.

Ed Washington quits his executive job at a toy company to do what he loves: interact with kids. He is given this opportunity by Whit, in the form of managing the new Whit's End in Connelsville.

Wooton takes up acting lessons with Edwin Blackgaard and Liz tries to find out what she's really good at in life.

The Cabrera family deals with the aftermath of the Novacom collapse, and Mitch finds it difficult to get any work in town with his less-than-stellar reputation.
