Gregory talks about his first acting job, how his brothers also joined the entertainment industry, his awards, and auditioning for Odyssey. Adventures in Odyssey writer and director John Fornof, frequently credited as John Beebee, has written episodes such as The Great Wishy Woz, Snow Day, Broken Window, The American Revelation and Odyssey Sings. More recently John has served as a writer, director and producer for Lamplighter Theatre, and has worked on Heirloom Audio productions as well. Now John Fornof has unfortunately been diagnosed with prostate cancer. Katie Leigh, the voice of Connie Kendall, has posted a link on her Facebook to a crowdfunding campaign where people can donate to help pay down John's health insurance deductible so he can move forward with medical treatment. But what is going to happen next on Adventures in Odyssey? Album 63: Up in the Air will be released on CD this October, and now the front cover art has just been unveiled. As you can see, it features Wooton and Penny skydiving. Album 63 will include six episodes about friendship and integrity. The episodes will be titled Find a Penny, Parts 1 & 2, Friend or Foe, Have a Heart, B-TV: Revenge, and Crash Course. You can check out the album summary below. Album 63 features a new writer, Sam Suksiri, who wrote the episode B-TV: Revenge, and has previously done an episode for the AIO Club, A Perfect Testimony. Lamplighter Theatre, known for classic Christian audio adventures such as Sir Malcolm and the Missing Prince, Charlie's Choice, and The Hedge of Thorns, as well as more recently Frozen Fire, The Haunted Room, and A 'Strordinary Little Maid, is set to record two new audio drama adaptations in May 2017. The first will be called The Giant Killer, an allegorical tale in which the giants of Sloth, Selfishness, Anger, Untruth, and Pride must all be defeated. These are battles everyone must fight with the help of God. Next will be Escape from the Eagle's Nest, a story which takes place in war-torn Afghanistan circa 1867 and follows the character Walter, who faces a moral dilemma when he fears he will be killed by his Islamic captors. The AIO Blog has released an interview with composer Jared DePasquale, who has done the music for multiple FOTF Radio Theatre productions, Adventures in Odyssey episodes, and more. The first episode of Album 62, Connie the Counselor, airs today on the radio and online. In this episode Eugene reluctantly agrees to allow Connie to test out her budding counseling skills on him for a psychology class assignment. Meanwhile, Buck and Jules try to find something to keep them entertained around Odyssey. All six episodes of Album 62 will be airing over the coming weeks.
