Book 19 in the popular Imagination Station series, Light in the Lions' Den, appeared in stores last month. That means its time to look ahead to see what the series has in store for the future. We now know that the next installment in the book series will be titled Inferno in Tokyo, and will follow Patrick and Beth as they enter 1920s Japan. And we also have access to the dramatic front cover artwork, featuring a flaming tornado. The book has been written by Marianne Hering and will be released in October. You can check out the story's summary below:
The Imagination Station has been malfunctioning for several adventures now, handing out the wrong gifts and traveling unexpected paths. Patrick and Beth must use their courage, strength, and resilience to help others and survive dangers as they travel through time and space and get caught up in the 1923 earthquake, tsunami, and fire that devastated Tokyo, Japan.
When kids step into the Imagination Station, they experience an unforgettable journey filled with action-packed adventure and excitement. Each book will whisk the reader away on the adventure with cousins Patrick and Beth to embark on a new journey around the world and back in time. This easy-to-read adventure, number 20 in the series, is the latest in the long-running successful series that has sold over 600,000 books.
Also, this April Adventures in Odyssey will be re-releasing its 90 Devotions of Kids in a quality imitation leather edition, which was previously available only in paperback.
And in other news, Focus on the Family has released the soundtrack of its Radio Theatre production Les Miserables, composed by Jared DePasquale. Thanks to Austin Peachey for first posting this news on Audio Theatre Central. You can purchase the digital download from iTunes and Amazon.
