At the end of May a convention called Awesome Con was held in Washington D.C. for fans of comic books, animation, games and pop culture in general. It was attended by various celebrities, including at least three actors who happen to be voices on Adventures in Odyssey: Jess Harnell, Townsend Coleman and Jim Cummings. A podcast called "Boldly Going Nowhere" had the chance to interview them. In their interview with Jess Harnell, the voice of Wooton Bassett, he talks about getting into voice acting, his band Rock Sugar, his role as Wakko on Animaniacs, Crash Bandicoot and more. Listen here. In the interview with Townsend Coleman, the voice of Jason Whittaker, he discusses his start as a radio DJ, advice to aspiring voice actors about making a demo and getting an agent, his role as the Tick, and Michelangelo on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Listen here. In the interview with Jim Cummings, the voice of King Lawrence in Passages: Darien's Rise, he talks about his introduction to acting, his roles on video games, Darkwing Duck, Tigger, and much more. You can listen here. Keep in mind that if you're listening with younger children you may want to preview the content mentioned in some of these interviews first.
